Faith was handed to you already edited.
The parts that centered obedience stayed. The parts that centered women, resistance, liberation, and reckoning were cut, softened, or preached around.
Sacred Rebellion goes back to the text.
Not to destroy faith.
To question who was given the authority to define it.
This is where scripture gets read whole—not only through the fragments chosen to instruct women into submission, but through the larger stories of a God who repeatedly noticed the overlooked, challenged the powerful, disrupted religious certainty, and lifted up the voices institutions tried to silence.
Here, the theology of submission gets examined alongside the stories that complicate it.
The women who spoke.
The women who refused.
The women who crossed boundaries.
The women who became witnesses.
The women whose voices survived despite the people who tried to contain them.
This isn't deconstruction for the sake of destruction.
And it isn't blasphemy.
It's discernment.
It's the refusal to confuse patriarchal interpretation with divine truth.
Because faith and obedience are not the same thing.
Authority and truth are not the same thing.
And questioning what you've been taught does not necessarily mean you've abandoned what you believe.
Sometimes questioning is how you find out what you actually believe.
The rebellion isn't against faith.
It's against the idea that faith belongs to the people who edited it before it reached you.
